About the Presenters

Yogi Amrit Raj

Yogiji holds a B.A.M.S. degree (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from Faridkot University, and is a Certified Yoga Instructor, through the Kaivalyaddham Institute, both in India. A 4th generation Ayurvedic practitioner from Uttar Pradesh, India, he practices Ayurveda and teaches Yoga around the world. He has lectured and taught at the United Nations, the White House, in Hindu Temples, yoga studios, colleges and ashrams in India and throughout the US. He is co-owner of "Arogyadham", India's most popular family health magazine, read by millions of people worldwide. He appeared on 33 episodes of Arogyadham EK Vardan (Health Boom) in the United States, United Kingdom and India. He is a faculty member and an honorary visiting professor at the Dinacharya Ayurvedic Institute in New York.

Nechemiah Bar-Yehuda

Nechemia holds a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, and has numerous certifications as a yoga and meditation instructor, and body/mind healing practitioner. For 30 years, he has studied the scriptures of Kabbalah, Kashmir Shaivism Tantric Philosophy, Classical Yoga and Vedanta, with leading scholars and some of the greatest masters of our time.

Since he opened his Jerusalem Yoga studio in 1979, he has been teaching Yoga and Meditation and practicing body-mind healing with people of various ages and therapeutic conditions in Jerusalem, London, California and NYC.

Lucille Bass

Lucille is completing her graduate studies in Child Development at Hunter College. She studied modern dance with Martha Graham and Method Acting at the Lee Strasberg theater institute. She has studied Hatha and Kundalini Yoga for more than 28 years. In 2003, along with Nechemiah, she completed a 1 year Anusara Yoga teachers training. Lucille has been teaching Yoga, visual and performing arts, and creative writing to children and adults of all ages, for many years. She has a unique gift of guiding and inspiring students to dive into deep contemplation and meditation that is based on her own deep meditation experiences and her ability to communicate from the heart.
